National Terror Alert Apparently the "art therapy' classes some Guantanamo prisoners are receiving as part of their "rehabilitation" is not working so well in deterring future attacks. Brian Ross reports via The Blotter that 2 former Guantanamo prisoners are now believed to have been behind the terror attempt on Northwest Airlines flight 253.

National Terror Alert Of course this can be downplayed as "it was only a firecracker", however the point is that it was an explosive, regardless of how small, and it made it's way on to the aircraft.

Michael Maahs 23 December at 11:32T~ Hey are a delivery device for a nuclear warhead. Invented for a film. They are torpedo like devices that motor from hopefully one of our Virginia class submarines. They make it to our enemies shore and embed themselves for teams to deliver on land via turtle tech at a time of our ch...oosing, that or they motor up the enemies river until battery power runs out, at this point they settle into the riverbed transpose their props and recharge their batteries after the prop transposes, they do this continually until the snail reaches its destination and waits for its seismic or phononic or photonic binary trigger switch to be activated at Norads command. They can detonate from the riverbed or shore/port/base or they can slug up a boat-ramp or shore and drive on land controlled via satellite lastly they could be delivered by trident via the dragonfly. Bluefin robotics has been developing the prop for some time. http//www.bluefinrobotics.com/ Many things can be delivered besides our best arsenal piece/nukes. This is an offensive tool t comes in the form of torpedo/land~slug-nuke, torpedo/missile~dragonfly-nuke, torpedo only~snail-nuke, turtle-nuke~vehicle with depleted plutonium as its shell/body ULV unmanned land vehicle. All these nuclear delivery devices have sensors/built in to detonate if found by enemies. They could be placed in strategic places in such countries as Iran and used as tools in nuclear game theory. This changes the strategy with Russia and China dramatically. Defensively we need to be wary and set up a sonar net to search for these devices in our waters and potentially in the future have a stopping point for yachts and ships where they are searched by seal teams before they enter our international waters. these are like roaches we can't get rid of them they already hatched. Unfortunately we would have to take time to test for a isotope origin region if one went off in this country this is why we must immediately ramp up the development of this tech. This way we stay ahead in the race whoever starts first has an advantage in a foot/intellectual race. I have other concerns about low-grade snail tech that could be developed today that would allow terrorist to deliver explosive not specifically nuclear payloads to this country. This info should be classified not made into a Hollywood film. Unless said film is made as a tactic to reenter a cold war! -- Search took 0.125 seconds.T~time time is relative to quark rotational velocity?

Dennis C Blair DNI 23 December at 17:06OK, what is the payload (weight and cube) of these deliverables? Secondly, what kinds of yields are you talking about? A small nuke (couple hundred pounds/10KT yield/book box sized) is NOT a terribly big deal (damage terms only) on a national or even metropolitan level, except as a precursor to a BIG nuke (few tons / 150+ KT / Wardrobe sized) AND to those nearby. ANFO can do a reasonable job if only a big bang (building/block level) is desired. IEDs also can generate local excitement when well targeted.
Thirdly what is the delivery capacity of the mechanisms discussed above. Even small weapons are not particularly stealthy, shielding is really heavy and complicates delivery.
Tactical nukes have been around for decades, no change in the nuclear calculus with regard to China / Russia is required. Mutually Assured Retaliation in kind is not time sensitive, it just has to happen. Next week, next month, or next year is fine. There really is no time sensitivity to isotope origin testing, nor is that sufficent to identify actual miscreants.
WTF does quark rotational velocity have to do with anything?
In telling a story none of the above really matters if you can get the reader to "suspend their sense of disbelief."
