This workshop will give you an insight into how to deliver an effective presentation that can give you the edge over other candidates. It will also help you to overcome your nerves!
Newcastle Graduate Skills developed at this workshop ...include: communication skills, personal enterprise and planning and organising.

Delivered by a top team of leading entrepreneurs and business experts, this programme will provide you with:
- practical, first-hand advice;
- experiences, stories, hints and tips from seasoned entrepreneurs;
- the opportunity to network and make new contacts with like-minded people.
The programme includes:
Start...er Sessions - find out what is involved in setting up a business in the UK, from writing a business plan to marketing your business effectively.
Master classes - in-depth sessions aimed at those who already have an idea and a commitment to making it happen, as well as those already running their own business. Topics covered include market research, raising and managing finances and keeping it legal.
Making connections - a one-off networking event that gives you the chance to chat informally to a host of business experts and entrepreneurs.
The programme begins on 26th January 2010 and runs for six weeks - see below for dates and times. Full programme details to follow, with more guest speakers to be confirmed.
