Thanks in part to the more than 7,000 North Carolina REALTORS® who made their voice heard on this issue, the US House on Thursday approved a bill containing the extension of the existing $8,000 tax credit for first-time homebuyers.

The passage of this legislation is a tremendous victory for prospective home...buyers as well as for the real estate market as a whole.
