i bought mine at Barnes & Nobles last nite for like $16 and with the CD plus considering it is printed in UK it says then i figure it worth the price...i'll consider it added reading for my university education then i won't feel so bad about spending the high price on it :)

What about IE8. With its compatibility mode and its own standards it will be even worse than IE6 is.

.net magazine Aaseem, I'm afraid we only export to India. And, as always, subscribing is cheaper. But I appreciate that this isn't ideal for students. Actually, we may still have a student discount, but I'm not sure whether it applies to overseas readers. Mail me at dan.oliver@futurenet.com if you're interested.

.net magazine Carl: Great to hear that .net respects no borders, and is going down well in Thailand ;)

Derry: It can take around eight weeks for features to hit the site, but we don't put everything online.

Gutemberg: I think it can take a few weeks to process subscriptions, so on the odd occasion you may miss an issue. If you don't get the next one, let me know (dan.oliver@futurenet.com) and I'll mail one to you.
