A Quick Guide to Facebook's New Look
Profile Tabs
Tabs clean up and organize your profile.


The Wall tab features traditional Wall posts, posts from friends, and stories you create on Facebook.

The Info tab displays basic information about you that doesn’t change often. You can also add info sections from Applications.

The Photos Tab features your albums as well as photos of you.

The Boxes Tab features all of your current application boxes. You can add profile boxes here, or on your info and Wall tabs.

Feature your favorite applications by giving them their own tabs.
The Publisher
Publish content like your status, photos, videos, and items from applications directly from your profile.
When you are looking at a friend's profile, use the Publisher to leave posts, videos, or content from applications.

The Wall
The new Wall tabs displays traditional Wall posts, content from your friends, as well as posts and stories that you create on Facebook. Posts can be about content you add, or about actions that you take on and off Facebook.
With the new Wall, you can filter between posts by yourself and posts by others. You can customize how your wall looks by choosing the story size of each post under its edit icon.

Applications Menu
Easily get to your applications from the menu at the bottom of every page. You choose which 8 applications have quick links.
