The U.S. Army closed its largest base, located in Fort Hood, Texas, following a shooting rampage there that killed at least 12 people, including a civilian police officer, and injured 31 more, the Army said.

I cannot think of a successful example in the entire history of the world, especially in the context of an armed 'insurgency', or counter-occupation resistance. Read Morecolleagues think they can succeed when all others have failed, or when they have not utterly failed, visited untold suffering on the "beneficiaries" of their endeavors for decades following their final withdrawal in the form of one military junta or another. Isn't it time to consider the limits to our power, cut our losses and face the domestic political consequences in a "manly" fashion?
