I haven't had a chance to read this book yet but I have over 10y working with people with this problem and it s very sad seein how a brieght mind can fade away, it's hard for the family and for the patiente.I remember one patient, he was a judges, he was walking in th halls he put his hands on his head and screamed: I'm confused...I'm confused...I do know if I'm goin or coming, that explained to me what this illness is, and I've always remembered him.

Gigi, that sounds very similar to some of the scenes in the book. I think you would really like the book...the author did a great job of showing what early onset Alzheimer's is like from the patient's point of view.

Jane, I don't know the answer to that, but if you are referring to Florida law, see http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=21097370908 -- there's a note there about it, and it says to contact the Florida NASW office with any questions.

I wish that many would recognize Social Work as a profession in the Philippines, not only those courses that are in demand should be recognize e.g. Nursing, Education, Computer Science. More power to the Social Workl Profession!
