Daniel Metz Why would Madden have turned down multiple other offers for more money and more years to sign a 1 year deal with the Hawks? Because of the potential he sees in the team. The guy played for nine years in Jersey and won a couple of cups. He knows how to win and he knows a winning situation when he sees one. We need a goalie now! Go Hawks!!!!

It's all about business folks; business and the almighty dollar. Can't blame Tallon for watching what was going on in Detroit, knowing Hossa was going to be free July 1. He probably had Hossa and a few others in his sights for a while and it just worked out for number 81. Havlat wanted more years than the Hawks could commit to. I'm not a Hossa fan at all...but chances are, we all will be in a few months.

Hey, Huet played great in Game 5 -so we have a good goalie and all we need is a tough d-man since Walker is a Lightning. Hossa is not going to disappear in the playoffs and will get us to the next level-as said. GO Hawks!

Nicholas Aulich Tallon is offically a Drunk & Dumb ass. If this dude thinks that trading Sharp for a top D-man is the route to go. Then we need to fire his ass and Put Bowman in charge. The Flames didn't give up shit for Jay Bouwmeester. Nor did Philly for Pronger, some picks is all. Where were you on those Tallon. Dumb Ass. Not to mention a sweet trade at the end of last year for Pahlsson, that got rid of one of our toughest D-man. Wisniewski was a top 4 D-man on the Ducks and played a ton in the playoffs. Tallon = Dumbass Drunk.
