Kyaw Min Yu (aka Jimmy) has been imprisoned for 15 years of the last 18 years and is currently serving a sentence of 65 years for campaigning against the Burmese Junta. During his imprisonment he has been tortured by the Burmese regime. He is not allowed any visitors, ...he is not even allowed family visits. He has been sent to Taunggyi Prison in southern Shan state in the middle of eastern Burma 454 miles from his hometown, Rangoon. Jimmy is in poor health, suffering from high blood pressure. he is not allowed any visitors not even family. Jimmy's wife, Nilar Thein is also serving a 65 year sentence.
