Jacquelon Manion I have read all of the books and was not sure how I would feel about the TV Series. I am now hooked. Jill Scott is not only a beautiful woman but has nailed the character exactly has described in the books. Anika Noi Rose, Lucian Msamati, and Desmond Dube are also perfect in their rolls. I look forward to a second sea...son. The DVD's are high on my Christmas list!

Emailing HBO is still a very good thing to do and everyone should continue to do so, but as far as I know, they are still willing to do a second season. Laurie Al-salameh I, also, enjoyed this show so very much. Years ago I read the 1st book in this series by McCall Smith and was hooked instantly. I eagerly anticipated each new release. These are the few books that I recommend and even provide copies to almost all readers that I know. I do assume that HBO and the publishers of McCall Sm...iths books read these postings and are following along with our chatter. So please, keep commenting here and email HBO. Perhaps a movie is on the way? There must be SOMEONE out there with information and who can respond to our inquiries?

Kathy Sigurdson I absolutely loved this tv series and didn't want it to end:( I have read all Alexander McCall Smith's books in this series. I think they did a great job of the casting and love that it was filmed on lacation in Botswana. One of the things that hooked me onto the series was learning about the Botswanian culture. Ye...s, I will e-mail HBO. I wonder if we could also e-mail McCall Smith...
