COME SHOW YOUR SUPPORT FOR THE NOH8 CAMPAIGN ON THE 1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF PROP 8!
The NOH8 Campaign has announced their next open photo shoot for NOVEMBER 4TH, 2009. The shoot will coincide with the one year anniversary of the passage of Prop 8 in California, which banned the right of all same-sex couples to marry. If y...ou haven't joined our silent protest yet, this is the perfect opportunity!
As turnaround for the photos is about 6 weeks and the holidays are quickly approaching, the shots taken on November 4th are also the last batch of photos we can guarantee will be edited before the holiday season.
You do NOT need to schedule a specific appointment with us; just be sure to show up between the scheduled hours of 1:00pm and 7:00pm to guarantee your participation in the shoot. Once you arrive, buzz 3-2-0 on the call-box and you will be directed to a sign-in area.
The whole process is very quick and will last about 15 minutes, give or take a few minutes depending on the wait. :)
All you need to bring is a PLAIN white v-neck/t-shirt, and we'll take care of temporary tattooing one of our custom-printed, hand-drawn "NO H8" logos onto your cheek when you get here! Other than that, please arrive "camera-ready" (make-up and hair already done) as we will NOT have a make-up artist available on-set.
The fees to have your official NOH8 shot taken are:
SOLO PORTRAIT: $40
GROUP/COUPLE PHOTO: $25 per/person
Children 12 and Under will continue to be photographed FREE of charge!
We can accept cash, check, or credit (please make checks payable to the "Adam Bouska Photography").
These fees will help us afford the time and resources to continue working on the campaign.
