Completely Committed Followers HAVE IT YOUR WAY. Our society creates slogans like this to make you feel important, in control. That's completely opposite of John 3:29-30 "I am filled with joy at HIS success. HE must become greater & greater, I must become less & less." Here's the thing, slogans are only needed by those whose lives don't clearly illu...strate they're beliefs. What would someone say is your "slogan" based on your actions?
Completely Committed Followers SILENT PRAYER. I'm praying for a hurting friend, loss of loved one. It's been months, but she still wrestles w/grief. Just praying, not crafting words to impress others. I'm alone, she's unaware & that's okay. Mark 1:35 "Rising very early in the morning, while it was still dark, he departed & went out to a desolate pla...ce, & there he prayed." Find a place, no distractions & pray for someone that needs Him.
Completely Committed Followers JESUS IN A BOX. As we packed away our Christmas decorations, it occurred to me. How many of us pack away our faith? Bring it out once or twice a year to display? Consider this: JAMES 1:22-25 "Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. Anyone who listens to the word but does not do wha...t it says is like a man who looks at his face in a mirror &, after looking at himself, goes away & immediately forgets what he looks like. But the man who looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, & continues to do this, not forgetting what he has heard, but doing it—will be blessed." Have you ever considered leaving your nativity out year round?
Completely Committed Followers RESOLUTION. We rationalize so much, junk food, not exercising & skipping time for God. Let Psalm 63 inspire you to eagerly seek Him: "Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you. I will praise you as long as I live, & in your name I will lift up my hands. On my bed I remember you; I think of you thr...ough the watches of the night. My soul clings to you." Make 2010 a year you grow closer to Him.

Completely Committed Followers RESCUE MISSION. Luke 15:7 "'Celebrate with me! I've found my lost sheep!' There's more joy in heaven over ONE sinner's rescued life than over 99 good people in no need of rescue." Good news is we're all sinners & all in need of rescue. Did you know it's easier to rescue a drowning victim if they're unconscious than ale...rt & panicking? Why? Because they fight to save themselves. Is that you? Relax, let the Savior save.
Completely Committed Followers GOD MOMENT. "God moments are not moments when God shows up. He is always there. God moments are those moments when we show up." In the midst of running errands, dodging traffic, & hunting for deals, I got lost – but God was there. I saw this on a car in the parking lot, almost rushed past it honestly. But glanced over ...and He provided the gentle reminder, that He's in control. Are you rushing to take care of things? Overwhelmed because you have to be in control, or are you just afraid to let go?
