More informed IA Sailors and families result in more mission-ready IA Sailors and better prepared families. While Fleet and Family Support Centers continue to support deploying ships, squadrons and units, they also provide deployment support services that address the unique challenges of IAs.

Our services are typically held the same time each month. This allows IA Sailors and their families to plan for the workshops that are offered before, during and after a deployment. It also brings together all the Sailors and families preparing for an IA assignment. It creates a close-knit community of people who otherwise may not have known about each other.

Support to IA Sailors from the Fleet and Family Support Program includes its full range of work and family life program and counseling services. Their mission is to promote the self reliance and resiliency of all Sailors and Navy families.

The Navy's Fleet and Family Support Program promotes the self-reliance and resiliency of Sailors and their families. We provide information that you need to meet the unique challenges of the military lifestyle.
