2010 Prius... the perfect creature.

It’s a great day for the bipedal creatures that are born into our gasoline dependent country which imports about 4 billion barrels of oil per year.  With the throttle wide open, we’ve developed a thirst for thrust in our demanding gas hungry machines. Can’t anyone see the red light ahead? Isn’t it about time we stepped on the “regenerative brakes”… literally?

Yes, actually, Toyota did just that with the Prius!  It has a 4-wheel disk battery charging brake system. At last, along comes pure innovation from necessity, the technicians also asked, “Why are engines running at red lights?  Finally, put it all together; a vehicle that stands alone in the market, can you say… “51 miles per gallon”.  Like something from the future inspiring to all automobile manufactures, the Toyota Prius reigns supreme now with more than 1.8 Million units zipping across the globe in “Jetson” style!

Note its aerodynamic shape. The 2010 Prius is perfectly symmetrical and curved. The front hood bevels outwards to allow it to slip through the air, not into it.  The headlights assume a vertical position that climbs halfway up the front.  The rear includes an impressive display of LED brake lights composed of a series of individual red illuminations. A hatchback allows for a more aerodynamics than the previous generations and adds to the futuristic look!

This technological leader is far more advanced than most all the other motorized people movers in the market. The Prius’s engine is the first production engine that requires no accessory belts! That’s right, the water pump, power steering and A/C compressor are all electric! It has a high-resolution liquid crystal display, 5 star safety rating, side curtain, knee and torso air bags. It’s a winner all around. High MPG, very roomy inside, no engine belt to replace, quiet, and tons of options. Solar vent system, Navigation, Streaming Bluetooth, lots of safety features, much improve styling over the previous generation, sonar cruise control, symphonic JBL stereo system upgrade, different engine modes… when you add it all up along with your monthly gas expense budget, there are literally hundreds, and for most of us… thousands of reasons to own a Prius!
