Managed service provider Assent is marking increased interest in Building Information Modelling with the release of a free 12 page 'BIM' brochure.

During the second half of 2011, Assent  successfully completed outsourced BIM projects for a major London practice, and established a unique 'specification matrix', which it is using to produce accurate costings for future projects.

The BIM process allows all data generated through the lifecycle of a building to be captured, modelled and analysed.

Although still in it's relative infancy, BIM is internationally recognised as producing time and cost savings.
