With strawberries in abundance (or on their way, depending on where you live), you really should make some of this spread for those homemade buttermilk biscuits!
From the Kitchen of Deep South Dish
1 cup of butter (2 sticks)
1/2 of an 8-ounce package of cream cheese, softened at room temperature
3/4 cup of finely chopped strawberries with juices
2 to 3 tablespoons of powdered sugar, or to taste
Cream everything together well, cover and refrigerate all day or overnight. Let come to room temperature about 15 minutes before using. Use on biscuits, pancakes, waffles, or quick breads.
