While I would love to be in the company of The President of the United States (really any of them but most especially the one currently in office) I think this may be the closest I get to Barack Obama â having the Washington Post put our pictures next to one another. I wish the article were about something really compelling, like his lovely wife Michelle just wore to a State dinner a pair of my lillybees . Or maybe that the President wanted to discuss the state of public schools in the Nationâs Capital with another public office hero(ine), Michelle Rhee (see bottom right corner of the picture) and moi (DC resident, mother of two tots dedicated to but deathly afraid of the public schools in the area). My part in the article (ok â in the world) is so infinitesimally small, but hey, if this is my 15 minutes of fame Iâll take it.
