Place plastic pocket folders into a 3-ring binder.
Label the tabs for various activities that your family participates in.
You might have one for zoos, museums, theaters, etc.
When you accumulate the brochures and other information for each venue, you can simply slip it into the pocket and it's organized for the next time your family asks "what can we do today?". When a new brochure or catalog comes in the old one can be recycled.
If a piece is timeless, you might use a 3-hole punch to prepare it to be inserted behind the appropriate tabbed pocket.
