Dear Friends,

I've always loved September, ever since I was a kid. Even now, and probably because I have so many children, I think in terms of school years instead of calendar years. New school supplies, new school uniforms (even if hand me downs), new school shoes, new books, new teachers. Warm weather, but with a little nip of fall in the air. Every year it seems like an opportunity to start fresh as we settle in after the summer.

I hope this will be a great productive Fall for everyone. And my latest paperback, A Good Woman, comes out this month. What better way to start the Fall!!
