From SC Pit Bull Rescue - Therapy Dog Lost on James Island

A dear friend of ours (and a wonderful Pit Bull advocate), Kelly Scarbrough, lost her dog last night, the evening of 29 September 2009, around dusk. Caia is a brindle spayed female Pit Bull, almost 4 years old and about 60 pounds. Photos are attached. She was lost last night, near dusk, on James Island (Charleston), South Carolina, from the Lakeside Townhomes area off of Cross Creek. She was not wearing a collar, but is microchipped with a HomeAgain chip.

Caia is very well-known by the Charleston dog community. She does therapy work and she has amazing tricks that every loves to see! She is in a program where little kids read to dogs to help them learn to read. She has touched a lot of people!! Caia is very, very sweet, very friendly, loves everyone, and typically goes everywhere with Kelly. Kelly is beside herself right now.
