so a dear friend JAH BRAIDS and i were walking downown today

she started telling me about this homeless girl living on borad street.

when we walked by JAH gav her some money

and as we continued walking

almost at the same time

we said we had to hlp this girl

but what could we do. 

we really didn't know what to do

so we went back

and asked her a bit about herself

and how she found herself on tthe street.

see

i had seen her many times last winter

in one of my favorite coffee shops LIFT. 

sh has lived on the streets before.

but this time she has ben out for about 2 weeks

she has family in henrico

but she says there are abuse issues that can't be worked out

 she lost her job, and suffered a downward spiral from that and lost an apartment.

She's only 25,

 she has the most beautiful eyes, really she is a beautiful girl,, super smart.

well

JAH told her she could help wash hair in her shop.

and i made some calls

and found out even homelss people can get food stamps..

we talked to the girl about her safety..

and she feels safe out there on broad stret.

and we talked to her about what she has to do to get off the street

she needs temporasry housing. not a shelter.

and a job..

she says she has done customer service

i'm sure she needs more than that..

but if anyone has odd jobs that need doing..

or knows of any temporary housing.

please share it..

if we give a person a dollar but never help them up and out of their situation.

we have not done anything.. 

I MADE A PROMISE THAT SHE WILL BE OFF TH STREET BY THANKSGIVING. 

because that's how long sh has been on the street. please share this..
