A fish that has not changed in120 million years ! You must not, and cannot, dam the Mary and destroy this species. It is not a salmon and cannot jump fish ladders. This amazing creature with a lung as well as gills lives in the Mary at Kenilworth. I saw these incredible fish from the bridge at Kenilworth, looking into the clear water about a... See More metre deep and observed their "nests" in the gravel of the river bottom. I pray that next September when I return to Queensland they will still be there, and the Traveston Dam project will be "dead", instead of the fish!

Also don't forget the historical events that took place on this land. It is a part of Queensland and Australian history.
