Help celebrate our 13th year in 2010 by submitting a short Bar/Bat Mitzvah film.
We are soliciting Maine filmmakers to create short films that capture the Jewish ritual of Bar/Bat Mitzvah through the lens of film.
Films can be no more than 10 minutes in length. After that it’s up to you.
Be creative, religious, secular, dramatic, funny, cutting edge, poignant, animated, informative, earnest or careless but just be willing to engage and entertain our audience.
Submissions will be accepted July 15 – December 15, 2009 (no later). This is a juried competition. All filmmakers will be notified by January 15, 2010.
Accepted films will be screened at our March 2010 Festival.
Completed submission will be on DVD only and accompanied by a submission form you can download on line from our website. If you want your film returned you must include a SASE.
