Senate Conservatives Fund: 2010 Race Spotlight: KENTUCKY

2010 Race Spotlight: KENTUCKY
Senator Jim Bunning (R-KY) is retiring next year. There are several Republicans running to replace him, but the two most viable candidates on the right are Kentucky Secretary of State Trey Grayson and Rand Paul, an eye surgeon and son of Rep. Ron Paul (R-TX). The Republican primary is May 18, 2010.

Grayson started the race as the frontrunner and has benefited from financial support from the Republican establishment in Washington. But Paul has been coming on strong and actually out-raised Grayson in the 3rd quarter of the year. Both candidates now have about $1 million cash on hand.

We need your help evaluating these two candidates and we want your input on the race. Please read our race spotlight and then vote in our online Kentucky Senate Poll.
