NASHVILLE, TN (October 1, 2009) -- Nashville Recording Artist and Martinez, Georgia, native Eric Lee Beddingfield and the Red Cross announced today that he, with the help of Corner Pub Midtown, is organizing a benefit concert to assist victims of the recent unprecedented floods in Georgia, Tennessee and Alabama.

The concert is set to coincide with the University of Georgia/Vanderbilt football game in Nashville the next day. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund to assist in their recovery efforts.
“The devastation hit so close to home for my family and fans that I couldn’t sit by and do nothing.” Beddingfield noted. “There are so many ties in the music community between Nashville and Georgia that its only fitting that we use the talent we have here to help out those affected by the flooding not only back home in Georgia, but right here in Tennessee too.” Beddingfield’s family and several of his band members still live in all three states.
General admission is $15 or, for a donation of $75, fans can purchase a VIP ticket that includes food, drinks and an artist meet-n-greet. Tickets can be purchased online at www.cornerpubtn.com or at the event on the day of the show.
Beddingfield has called in the help of several well-known artist friends and announcements of the special guests will be made in the upcoming days. Plans are being finalized, but interest in benefit and the lineup for the show is steadily building. For more information on how to be a part of the benefit, contact D’Anne Mica at dmica@grasshoppermedia.com or 615-788-5715.
