Madden NFL 2010 Tournament: Grand Prize – 32” Plasma TV
The first annual JSU St. Jude Madden Tournament is a fun and exciting way to raise funds for the research and treatment of child cancer and sickle cell patients. We are sure the JSU community will represent itself well but there are some guidelines that need to be followed to make this event a sucess. Registration will be open until Oct. 30 at $10 per person, or $8 as a team.

Tigers to hold JSU Basketball Madness – Oct. 22
The Jackson State men's and women's basketball programs will hold "JSU Basketball Madness - A Night of Champions" at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 22 at the Lee E. Williams Athletics and Assembly Center. The event will be the first opportunity for JSU basketball fans to see the 2009-10 Tiger and Lady Tiger teams. Both teams will have inter-squad scrimmages.There will be a slam dunk contest and a three-point shooting contest. The Sonic Boom of the South will play and the prancing J-Settes will dance. The Greek letter organizations will perform, and the mascot and Baby Tigers will entertain the crowd. The Tigers will accept two canned good for admission in support of the Stewpot and Hope House.
