The biggest event is the Republican Party of Iowa “Leadership For Iowa”, which will be held the the Iowa State Fairgrounds starting at 5:00 PM. Tickets are $25. Tim Pawlenty, Governor of Minnesota, will be the featured guest. More information at www.iowagop.org. All of the candidates for Governor plan to attend, and Terry Branstad will be holding an open house andrally at his new headquarters (3590 109th Street, Urbandale) at 4:00.
