"Ok, so I was in the 4th grade and I was in music class. I was learning to play the violin and we were playing some tune when all of a sudden there was a loud "gong" sound. The string whipped across my fingers and everybody stopped playing their instruments.
I then said, "Mr. Eckhardt, my G-string broke!" I had no idea what that was but everybody in the class started laughing. Nobody told me what it was so when my sister came to pick me up from school I said, "Marie, my G-string broke and everybody laughed at me."
She started laughing so hard and shut me up. Then she finally told me what it was and I was so embarrassed as I was only referring to the string on the violin!"
