The Fort Hood shooting is a distressing example of when strains on the mind cause somebody to turn to atrocious, violent behavior. My heart goes out to the families who lost loved ones, and for everybody else who was hurt by the shooting.
On another note, thanks, Jan, for your logical perspective. We need a lot more of that around here.

Let's stop the political correctness and call an evil Islamic extremist nut case exactly what he is. He is not just a "shooter", a "gunman", 'distraught", etc., etc.

Our Prayers also go those at Fort Hood, today and every day. Thank you for going straight to the point Sarah and not giving an unrelevant 3 minute prelude.

So, Mrs. Palin. Maybe I'm a little behind, but I just read that the man who killed all tho people at Ft Hood is on Obama's homeland security team. Isn't that interesting?
