When you first set foot on the Oasis Isles, you will sense that you are in for a treat… and you will be right. The scenery and music give this level the feel of an island paradise, but this is no peaceful vacation getaway. Dragonbo shows his skill as a designer by crafting a level that is open and inviting while still presenting quite a challenge.

You’ll need to collect every possible point in order to complete this level, which means the only way to work your way up the leaderboard is speed–and not dying! And you can expect to die several times before you beat it.

Even though the level is small enough to see everything from the starting point, there is a surprising amount of variety both in challenge and pacing. Some treasure is just lying in the open ready for the taking, but often you will have to risk life and limb just to collect a single coconut.

In the words of dragonbo, “with short time and only 4 lives, you’ll come back quite a few times!” If you’re like me, even after you beat it, you’ll keep coming back for more. And you’ll need to, if you want to beat my score - good luck! -robcozzens
