The Bears play their final regular season home game this year on Wednesday, November 4, at 1 p.m. when they face the Evansville Aces at Plaster Field. A win will guarantee the Conference Championship for the Bear’s, giving them 22 points in 9 games with one remaining. Drake and Creighton can earn 21 or 18 maximum in their remaining games. Drake and Creighton face each other in the final regular season match of the year on Saturday night, in Des Moines.

The Bear’s have a six game winning streak going into the game, while outscoring their opponents 13-4 during the streak. Just as importantly, the Bear’s have a season long streak of winning any game when they score a goal.

The Aces are 2-3-1 in their last 6 games, splitting a pair of games with Drake including their dramatic win that was broadcast on Fox Soccer Channel a week ago Friday. There most recent game was an 0-2 loss to Indiana University, with the Hoosiers scoring two late goals in the victory at Bloomington Wednesday night. It was the first time in the last seven matches that the Aces have allowed more than one goal.
