SNOW! It’s SNOWING outside our windows here at Lehman’s (in northeast Ohio). Ok, ok, we realize many of you have already SEEN the white stuff this fall, but we were caught offguard this morning. I am in western KY and I fired up my Kitchen Queen wood cook-stove on Monday b/c i was chilled. Sure warmed me up. What a nice feeling!

Still growing sweet potatoes, peppers, green beans and squash here in SW Arkansas - no freeze yet as of Nov. 16. Haven't had to use the wood stove, either, which is a good thing because we have new stove pipe to install and we haven't done it, yet. We probably could have used it tonight as it's getting dow to around 40 for a low but we'll just bundle up and go to bed. It'll be warmer in the morning. :-) We love the wood heat - nothing like it.
