Elf Island we had two guests on the island from Bert’s Big Adventure on Thursday. Elves had the chance to ask questions of Bert and Marcella, a child that has benefited from Bert’s Big Adventure. Here are a few questions from the chat.

luvdapixie: how do you get to choose the families?
bertelf: the families are selected by our medical staff. They have to qualify under three different crieteria even to be considered

ggxtech: How many kids have been party of this adventure?
bertelf: We take a total of 72 people each year

hellopop: Bert, how much do you think the Gq will help with Bba?
bertelf: Well, if we get the entire donation thsat would be HUGE. I mean really huge for us. It would probably cover over two families

cougarcat: Bert, how many kids have you taken on Bert’s Big Adventure
bertelf: Let’s see..we average about 10 kids a year. So we’re close to 80 now

hellopop: Bert, what is your favorite part about Bba?
bertelf: A child that had never been in a pool before because he was in a wheelchair. We got him a wheelchair that floated. and he experienced a pool for the first time

batelf: how did you find out you were a Bba kid?
marcellablue: my mom sent an application and they called us, yep my family was so excited

theevilqueen: what was the best part of the park for you?
marcellablue: i like the rides and cool buildings

What makes her laugh? Funny movies, sarcasm and silly mommies.

What is something she wants other kids to know about her? I have lots of dreams, am very fun, and a really good friend.
