KIRO 7 Morning News: Tuesday: Fog, Fire, Floating Homes

Tuesday: Fog, Fire, Floating Homes

Happy Tuesday! A LOT of fog out there this morning, so be careful as you hit the roads. Jenni Hogan is following the worst spots for traffic. Meteorologist Sam Argier is watching too. Their reports every 10 minutes.

Also on KIRO 7 Eyewitness news this morning:

We're live on the scene of a fire at the Teamsters Union building in Tacoma. Rick Price is there getting a handle on how big it was and what may have started the fire. Also, reporter Chris Francis is getting new information about Seattle's new "Snow Plan". After last December's debacle, when Seattle streets were pretty much shut down, Seattle’s Department of Transportation took a close look at their policies. And to help get residents ready for winter, they're holding some open house meetings to discuss the changes. The first one is tonight at 7pm at the Jefferson Community Center.

Some other video to watch out for today on KIRO 7 or KIROTV.COM... a Massachusetts home floating in the OCEAN! Apparently the beach that the house USED to be on has been eroding for years. A recent storm finally caused the house to slough off into the ocean.

Sam Argier says the fog should burn off at some point late this morning, but expect gray skies throughout the day. Otherwise, no big rain showers until tomorrow!

Enjoy your Tuesday!
