Gregory Casimir: Busy Summer

Busy Summer
Macbeth in the other Room-first lead in an off off Broadway showcase.
Hey guys, had an active summer on stage. It's every New York actor's dream to do Shakespeare at some point in their career and I feel blessed to have had the lead in my first production. It was a rendition of the Scottish play Macbeth in the Other Room - a very intense and erotic version of the Bard's play. I got reviewed by both the NY Times and Backstage.com. Not a glowing review by the Times but hey-it's the Times. LOL And press is press especially this early in my career!

My summer continued with another lead in the New York International Fringe Festival. It's the biggest theater festival in the East Coast with other 2000 entries of which 200 plays are picked to be performed. I got to be one of the leads in a off beat comedy called Poke Until Wince . I got another strong review from Nytheater.com.

To cap it off, I had my first speaking part in the SAG Low Budget film "Same Deep Water As You" a dark comedic thriller about internet fraud. The screening of the film will be in November so will keep you posted.

Thank you to all that showed up to the theater this summer and for the constant support. This is only the beginning of the ride to come.
