Early voting for the Nov. 3 constitutional amendment election started this week and is going on now. Please help get the word out to vote for Proposition 4, which would create more Tier One universities in Texas.

My only concern with this is we're having trouble funding and supporting the three we have now (I work at one of those).

2 & 3 were the ones we talked about most at CAD last night... finally decided we'll wait till the BOR endorsements come out tomorrow. Those fantastic geeky kids have done a great job informing us - including your endorsements & the Chron's.

I'm hoping that by supporting this, GTA's at UTA will eventually get tuition waivers, which is the standard at tier 1 universities.

Tuition waivers for GTA's? Not at UT-Austin when I was there, although it did qualify you for in-state tuition, which was of no benefit to us who were already here.
