Job DescriptionPosition: Field CoordinatorOrganization: National Committee for a Human Life Amendment (NCHLA)NCHLA is a national pro-life organization that works with the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops. The responsibilities of the position of Field Coordinator include:
- Maintaining lines of communication with Church leaders in dioceses, state Catholic conferences, lay groups, and the like, for all programming in assigned states.
- Collaborating with coworkers in preparing and presenting Legislative Seminars to state, diocesan, parish, and lay or civic groups.
- Tracking and maintaining internal documents pertaining to Congressional legislation.- Assisting in preparing material for NCHLA-sponsored web sites.
- Assisting in the routine administrative office duties.Desired qualifications include:
- A basic understanding of the legislative branch of government
- Knowledge of Church teaching on pro-life issues
- A willingness to perform public speaking
