Australian Human Rights Commission: Your views wanted about human rights in Australia

Your views wanted about human rights in Australia
The National Human Rights Consultation Committee has launched a new online
forum that enables Australians to post their views and engage in discussions about
human rights in Australia.

Posts and discussions published on the forum, together with the submissions made via the roundtables, mail or website, will be considered by the Committee in their report to Government in August this year.

The forum can be accessed by going to http://www.openforum.com.au/NHROC

While the closing date for written submissions is 15 June 2009, the National Human Rights Online Consultation will continue until 26 June 2009.

For more information about the Consultation, the Committee, how to make a submission and a list of roundtable locations around Australia, see http://www.humanrightsconsultation.gov.au

Please note that the Australian Human Rights Commission is not conducting the National Human Rights Consultation or accepting submissions. Information on the independent National Human Rights Consultation Committee is available at: http://www.humanrightsconsultation.gov.au/
