Skinbook CALLING ALL NUDIST WRITERS!
CALLING ALL NUDIST WRITERS!
Exciting News Guys!
Karl Maddocks and the rest of the Skinbook team are in the process of writing a book which aims to encourage the general public to adopt and embrace the positive body attitude practised by the nudist community… and we’d like your help!
“The Get Naked and Dance Diet” is a fun, quirky, but most importantly, a genuine guide to feeling good about your body RIGHT NOW without the need to count calories or run a marathon.
The message is simple. Every diet book, workout program or fashion magazine you’ve read up to now has told you that only after you have starved yourself silly, spent a year in the gym, slimmed down to a size 6 and spent £10,000 on cosmetic surgery are you entitled to feel good about yourself and the way you look.
“The Get Naked and Dance Diet”, not relinquishing the importance of good health, takes a different approach. We believe that before you go starving yourself, joining the gym and getting bits chopped off/tucked-in/pumped-up, you should learn to feel good about yourself, your body and the way you look FIRST! (Let the shaping and moulding take place later.)
Think about it… Isn’t it better to exercise to improve a body you already love than to get rid a body you hate? Wouldn’t eating healthy be more fun if you could afford the odd slip-up because a few pounds this way or that way didn’t stop you feeling good? And as for going under the knife, surely it’s better to be confident enough to scrap that idea completely?! Or at the very least, how much nicer to do it because you want to love your body even more, rather than to doing it in an attempt to like it in the first place.
And what about those of us who hate running, love chocolate, can’t afford surgery and hate the way we look? The fitness/cosmetics industry would have you believe that you are doomed to a life of self-loathing. “You can’t have your cake and eat it!” they’d say. Rubbish! Right now, in countries all over the world, there are chocolate-loving, gym-hating full figured people running around with no clothes on and loving every single minute of it. "The Get Naked and Dance Diet" will teach you how to feel the same way!
“The Get Naked and Dance Diet” will be a 30-day guide to learning to love yourself naked! Not so much a step-by-step process... just 30 stories/ideas from 30 different experienced nudist folk which will encourage the reader to feel good about their body.
So, who better to teach the world the steps to attaining body confidence than YOU GUYS!?
We are looking for written contributions to include in the book; anything from stories, bios, anecdotes, experiences, philosophies, challenging concepts, points of view... anything that could work to inspire people to ignore current media standards and just enjoy being themselves.
We’re interested in hearing anything from small suggestions for us to expand on, right up to 5/6 page complete articles written by you.
If you already have something written up, send it in for consideration. (Please note your article must be original and not published anywhere prior to your submission to us.)
If you have an idea for an article not yet written, please send us your suggestion for approval first before investing the time and effort.
If your piece is picked for inclusion in the book you will be paid 1% of the final profits from the book.
Please email your comments/questions/suggest ions/articles to: getnaked@gmx.com
