There is no such animal as a liberal Republican compared to a so called "conservative" Democrat. A strong Republican Party is a strong movement. People have to represent those who put them into office. Consent of the governed is the primary conservative concept. A smaller republic to do no harm is the primary REPUBLICAN value. Read what A.
