My favorite hero would have to be Maliken its awesome how he could be so imba in late games using his Life Essence on one on one is GG! and using his Enchanted Flames in clash is uber GG!! and in chasing just use Sword Throw is just pure Awesomeness!!! :D

Pollywog priest, this hero is good either solo or team laning, electric jolt is great for last hitting at the same time harassing enemy, has two disable skills good for ganking, and lastly his voodoo wards cud dominate the game with just proper and right timing of execution...

We just got our hands on three pre-order accounts of Heroes of Newerth from S2 Games. These are pre-purchased accounts of the game that will also get you into closed beta, which is going on right now. The pre-order code comes with multiple in game perks. You will get a custom graphic in game, the ability to taunt other players in game, and the option to keep your beta name once the game goes live. Pre-order is definitely the way to go.

For those not in the know, HoN is a team based arena style action RPG that is very similar to the popular game - Defense of the Ancients (A Warcraft 3 Map/Mod). If you like DotA, you are going to feel right at home with this game. You can learn more about it HERE.

So how do you get your hands on one of these codes? We are going to make it easy. Post a comment on this note telling us who your Favorite HoN hero is (or is going to be) and why. It may take a little research if you are unfamiliar with heroes but chances are you will find your favorite DotA counterpart in the mix. You can research them HERE.

Normal rules apply. Only post once and winners will be selected 5 days from now. So get to reading and get to posting.
Example post: I like Scout because there is nothing more satisfying than jumping the nuker, popping the silence, and ulting them as they try to run.

Corrupted Disciple is far and away my favorite hero. Nothing is more satisfying than playing a 1v1 game and killing someone a minute into the game then have then say "wtf" and then rage quit. It's like Jesus jumped into the game and was like "KABLAMMO"

Puppet Master:

Puppet Master is by far one of the best heros, with 2 mini-disables and a silence/hold. But wait hes not a disable hes a mad carry with some of the best dps ive seen any class hold. He is amazing early game and end game (not so much mid).

I love him and he gets my vote. Thanks razer!

My favorite hero would have to be Valkyrie. In DotA, I played so much Mirana it's not even believeable. Valkyrie is a strong solo and can easily hold a lane. When needed, she can quickly run to a lane, use a stored rune, and basically wreck havoc in the lane that she tends to. Strike a well-placed arrow, and your opponent could very well be stunned until his death. She can kill almost anything, outcarry most, and is very well one of the best support heroes in Heroes of Newerth.

Favourite Hero: MAGMUS

I find Magmus to be one of the best farming heroes with his Volcanic touch and Lava surge abilities. Lava Surge into the creeps and take the killing blow on the lowest health and there goes one wave. His Eruption with blink or even just lava surge is devastating in group battles. His Steam bath always helps me out when you ... See Morefind out that you are in the middle of a gank. Simply Steam bath as they appraoch your location and then Lava surge out to safety. Magmus can also achieve good dps or be a great tank therefore he is on my list of the best heroes. NEWERTH WILL ONCE AGAIN BE ASH, LAVA AND CINDER WITH MAGMUS AROUND :D

The new hero Pandamonium, id say is my favourite hero. His abilities go through magic immunities, his Flurry has quite a kick and scales well with items, and his ultimate is Face Smash, very appropriate name to what happens to heroes i encounter when i play him :). In team battles Panda is really great as he can disable multiple heroes for very long, aswell as he is a good chaser with his Flick.

I like Predator cuz his name alone is badass. When he jumps into a group he slows 1, ulti then stonehide. Watch the rest of your team massacre the runners. All you will hear after is GENOCIDE.

My favorite Hero is Nymphora. She is able to push and at the same time support other heroes. She does not need to go back to the base since she already has heal for her hp and fp. I think she is also one of the original heroes that they made. I loves using her.

My favorite hero in Heroes of Newerth is no other than the Witch Slayer! He is just the Van Helsing with the cross-like daggers and with his gun! He is just like Lion in DotA..But the graphics of his ultimate..the Silver Bullet..is one wicked ultimate I've ever seen! And my only item to this hero is an enhanced marchers, codex lvl 5, and the staff of the master..having the damage of the graveyard, followed by the codex and his ultimate..you just need like 2k of life just to survive! oh yeah!

My favourite hero is definitely Valkyrie. Nothing beats the 5 second javelin at lvl 1 for Bloodlust. And she's in any lane, solo or not. Plus she can backup carry if you don't have strong lategame. Great fun as well, because of 4 actives + whatever activatable items you have.

I like the swiftblade as he just like blademaster since blademaster is my favor hero is warcraft..Swiftblade's ulti is the most killing ulti if 1 by1..and his skill is also marvelous when use in pushing at early stage, lately stage can use as immune magic skill..i like swiftblade veru muchy muchy~

My favorite hero is Thunderbringer. I love playing solo mid where lightning bolt takes off around half the HP of other solo mids. Team fights are great as I can put out a lot of aoe damage with lightning rod. The ult is fun to use for helping out other lanes, killing runners, or just using in the middle of teamfights for a big advantage. Basically, I like running around spamming my deadly skills.

My favorite hero is Wildsoul. Every time I use him I solo mid and get a root kill within the first 6 levels. By that time, ganking is a breeze, with BooBoo owning easily. Once wildsoul gets farmed, it's hard to stop him. He melts casters extremely quickly and it is hard for anyone without a blink to escape. Plus, a giant bear charging around is extremely fun to watch/play.

My favorite hero in HoN is Pandamonium! He's a very fun hero to play. For me, its exciting to time his skills and outsmart other players using flick-jump combo. He is kinda soft for a str hero, but thats just how I like it, being underestimated. A lot of players really underestimate Panda for being soft but it really takes skill to use him well. In a gank situation he can use jump-flurry to turn the tides. Plus, he can take many roles in the game; semi-tank, carry, disabler and many more.

My favorite hero has got to be legionnaire. its too perfect. it can be a complete twist with barbed armor . it owns well in laning. it plays an important role as a tanker and just with helm of the black legion it is already pretty much invulnerable at early game. many idiots try to use legionnaire and creep block at early games and ended up dying... I love the Torturer! He more or less solves every problem in life using chains. Some guy harassing you? Chains! Some people might think the Torturer is a bad guy for using chains, but actually he has a heart of gold. A golden chain!

My favourite hero is Pharaoh. For his missile, ulti, stuns and wall of mummies, the best chaser/surpriser or disabler in my opinion in the game. Anyone walking away on the bad side of 100 hp will be a dead man with a single rocket, blasting their heads. Much calculation is needed to make sure that your rocket smashes into the face of the enemy, the... See More missile speed and their move speed. My favourite hero has gotta be Electrician(:

His grip is a very useful skill in planning the perfect gank, especially for heroes with a slow cast time/needs enemies to be nearby to deal maximum damage, for example Voodoo Jester or Glacius. With the disabled and revealed properties of grip, it makes the skilll just so useful and open to situations.

His electric shield is also a very good skill, almost the only reason why he's such a good tank. With Glacius' third skill or Teacher's Aura, Electrician can sustain his Electric shield just about like that. And together with the recommended Sacrificial Stone, he can tank just about almost every combo, even a fully-farmed scout!... See More

His third skill is useful in carrying for your lane mate, especially when you're getting gank, for it reduces the opponents mana by quite a great deal. It can be unexpected for some of them, and that's when they'll be caught off guard and you come in for the support.

And his Ultimate? That's the best :p It can help slow heroes with essential disables, such as Devourer with his ultimate, to rush into a lane and get an enemy empty-handed and using the element of surprise due to the sudden-ness of the attack to plan a perfect gank.

With such a perfect tanker and support hero, i guess Electrician's the best :p

Cooll contest guys! My fav HoN hero changes from time to time. But right now it's Predator! Oh yeah! That big furry dog-wolf-beast that roams around Newerth in search of heroes to leap on! Really i like him because he looks pretty slick; he's got on hulking armor, 2 crazy bone blades & runs on 2 feet or 4! How you gonna outrun someone chasing u on 4 feet? haha!

My favorite hero is Jeraziah. When he is built for support, your team should never lose. Once he uses his ultimate, your team is basically immune for 7 seconds, and in a team battle, that is an eternity.

My favorite is Pebbles. It feels amazing to hit level four and get FIRST BLOOD with a Stalagmites/Chuck combo nearly every time, without fail. Building with Ring of Sorcery also allows you to provide mana and an AoE stun in late game. He is an overall fun and useful hero!

My favorite hero is Swiftblade because if you use him right(having a stun lane with you) you can get kills at level one and and shift the balance of the game very early and later can use your ultimate to crush people foresting or by themselves or help do a lot of damage(epically with master staff) in team battles

For me, all the heroes was normal. None of the hero is better than Tempest. Best hero ever, as you can see whateles he cant do? He can dispell channeling skill by using his "Glacial Blasts" and use it to gank. Best pusher ever in HON too with his "Elemental". Together with his "Meteor" and his "Elemental Void", stopping every enemies and all the ... See Moreenemy heroes will decrease 24% + 280 damage of their main life. Which hero you can find that so prefectly? He is A ganker, a pusher, a displler, an anti-tanker and most important he can solo forest by letting 2 of his mates solo land. Tempest FTW.
