Riding through the Redwoods has to be one of the most awe inspiring experiences on a bike. The mere size of these giants is enough to make your head spin.

After a grueling half day of uphill riding, we were rewarded with the most amazing cruise down what can only be described as a wonder of nature. Necks strained right back to take in the full scale of the spectacle, we rode down this quiet boulevard at dusk feeling as if we had suddenly been shrunk to the size of a squirrel (what must it be like for the local squirrels?). The evening sun was shimmering diagonally through the leaves bathing everything in a golden tint, lending itsel perfectly to the spectacle. 

These trees towered above us at over 300ft their long bare trunks disapearing into the foliage. By dusk, no one else was on the road, leaving it open for us to enjoy in complete silence. It was an absolutely magical experience, one which reminded us just how small we actually were. Trully humbling.
