Resolve had to happen sooner or later. First and foremost, The Eppard's didn't stop at Josh.  Secondly, and most importantly for Joey, Josh Eppard's (Weerd Science, Coheed and Cambria) brother, an effortless hybrid of Pop Rock/Metal had to come to the surface and invade our ear.  Not to say this is my dig, but without a doubt Revisions has taste.

  To be quite honest, genrification is far too complex an issue.  Light guitar picking is just as common on this recording as over stuffed melodic distortion on this album. Songs like "Rabid Animals" and "The Better Half Of Me" have an energetic acousti-crunch value.  While "Fable" is more like Savage Garden with a bit of 80's metal spirit, "Lexicon Of Extremism" is more my speed.  Stealth, and clean cut, the finger picking is loose and brutal.

  With a firm grip of instrumentation, and diversity in musical influences after six albums, I'd like to see Joey Eppard and company reach for something a bit more contemporary. That being said, I can imagine a lage fan base for these guys.
