Dear Supporter,
It is a sad state of affairs in this day and age in our nation that money is the criteria for lending credibility to a campaign.
Nancy Pelosi has failed the people of the 8th district and, as Speaker of the House, has failed this nation when it comes to issues of:
• peace
• accountability
• affordable housing
• affordable secondary education
• warrantless wiretapping
• single-payer health care
• and the list could go on and on...
Nancy Pelosi's House is sitting at a record breaking low approval rating of 9% and she is out hawking a book that touts "Power." According to news sources about me qualifying for the ballot, the only "Power" some people see is colored green.
For the last four years I have devoted my entire life to making this country one that we could be proud of and the world could look up to once again with respect and hope. It is not about greed for power or money to me that keeps me going: it's about true public service and love of humanity.
Can you help us show the people who have already counted this campaign out that we are able to raise money, but unlike Nancy Pelosi's invisible campaign, we put every dollar to work getting the People's message out.
