Comcast and General Electric Launch Joint Venture

Quite some buyouts here and there recently and the present one is the forming of joint venture between Comcast and General Electric. The deal would have Comcast owning 51% and the other 49% held by GE. The venture will consist of Comcast’s networks and NBC Universal with the management done by Comcast Entertainment Group. It will be interesting to see how all the management goes about given that it will consist of 5 board members, three of which will be chosen by Comcast and the other two by GE.
