Hi to those who stopped in to see usat the show in Chantilly! It’s always great to meet people FTF with whom we’ve been communicating electronically. As always, we were excited to see so many creative people in one place — the positive energy is almost palpable at these shows, and this one seemed even moreso than others. So… to all our new customers and fellow fabric enthusiasts we say hello and welcome to YokoDana!

It was a good show for us and we’re most impressed with the calibre of the show management, the show agendas and the great things offered for all manner of sewing and quilt enthusiasts there. We’ll definitely do it again next year(Chantilly), and haven’t decided if we’ll be doing more of their events at other locations(re: Original Sewing & Quilt Expo — see previous post for details) .

We’re back in the office, but still trying to catch up on emails, orders etc. Dana hopes to resume adding fabrics to the site catalog by the end of this week. He’ll post here when he’s added a substantial number. Thanks all who have been supporting us in our efforts; in these troubled economic times it’s making all the difference in the world for us.

A Venue Info PS: We’re waiting to hear if we’ll be able to participate in a Quilters Guild event in New Jersey (suburban New York City) in November. We’ll post here and to opt-in members once we learn.
