You’d expect someone like Deepak Chopra to have a handle on love and peace. After all, he’s spent decades telling everyone else how to live a tranquil, blissed-out life of endless tolerance and Nirvana. But what’s this snarl I hear coming from America’s favorite pop guru? Like his fellow zen dispenser, Neale Donald Walsch, he seems to grow fangs whenever he addresses biblical Christianity. I remember being at a Schwartz bookstore and hearing Walsch openly mocking Christian doctrine to the cheers of his New Age audience. Hmmm. Something appears to be wrong with their dogma or Karma or whatever it is. In any event, if you want to preach sweetness and light, it really needs to include everyone, doesn’t it?
