Thanks to donations from Margaret, Brenda, Laura, Dana, Bella, Ilda, Lisa, and Diana, Tom has enough money to get his neuter operation next Wednesday, 18 November! He and Sally are adorable together, so I'm very glad that they will now be able to actually BE together as buddies. Karen Brown (gentle hands & kindly words petsitting) has offered to give Tom and Sally a forever home, so things are looking up for them!

I'm so thankful for the help of all my Cavy Angels.
I wish I could keep Tom and Sally, since they are such good piggies. Karen doesn't know this yet, but I'll be visiting her every now and then, bearing hay and cuddles. :) It turns out that after a year with no herd, Nhan and I have gotten our allergic reactions back in full force. During the time we had pigs (1993 through 2008), we evidently built up a resistance, but I'm sad to say that we may not have pigs again until we can have a set up that's NOT in our bedroom. :( Still, I'm so happy that things are turning around for Tom and Sally!
