The St. Catharines & Area Arts Council has partnered with the St. Catharines - Thorold Chamber of Commerce to help in showcasing some of the Niagara’s artists/art at the Mayor of St. Catharines State of the City Address Luncheon.

This event is to be held from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm on Friday, January 30th, 2009 at Club Roma, 125 Vansickle Road, St. Catharines.

Set up for the event will be between 10:00 and 11:00 am.

We are seeking various ART mediums to be displayed for sale during the event.

Visual Artists: We are seeking up to 6 artists to display between 3 and 5 of their pieces.
Any visual art medium is applicable.
Artists must supply their own display (easel) and provide guests an opportunity to purchase their art at the event.

Eligibility: The competition is open to all artists living and/or working in the Niagara Region.

• 2 images 300 dpi (JPEG Format) of sample work or link to website.

In Person:
• A notice of desire to participate containing current contact information.
• 2 images of sample work in hard copy or on CD.

Submission deadline: Friday, January 9, 2009.
