As a software engineer, computer book author, almost 20 year veteran of working with web hosts, and satisfied customer, I think you'll be satisfied. I've hosted numerous sites with numerous hosting companies. Hosting, like anything computer related ("if something can go wrong, it will"), is an imperfect world. You will always encounter some imperfection along the way. It's just the way it goes. With that said, I host many sites with ReliableSite under a reseller account. They're reasonably priced, they spell out what you get (no "Unlimited disk space, unlimited transfer" nonsense (also referred to as "flat out lies"), you can upgrade/downgrade your account features at any time, and support gets back to you about any issues.

And no, I don't work for ReliableSite or get any kick-back for positive comments ;-). I'm just someone who has experienced many bad hosts, and is glad to be working with a host that's doing a good job.
